Today (26th August) is International Dog Day. A day to celebrate man’s or woman’s best friend. The day intends to highlight the condition of dogs and to encourage the adoption of dogs from shelters. Almost 9 in 10 professionals working in the domestic abuse sector have seen cases where a pet has also been abused.
