In 2026 we’re launching a new fundraising and awareness campaign to help women at risk in South Liverpool.

#mychoicemylife aims to encourage women and girls to understand that they do have choices when it comes to how they are treated, how they choose to live and where to go for help.
Director of our charity Rebecca Radcliffe comments: “#mychoicemylife is a rallying cry for 2026 to enable all women to understand that they have the right to live without fear, violence or abuse of any kind.
“By working more closely with our partner agencies and healthcare venues and training units we will be able to signpost more women to safety and a life free from abuse.“

Businesses: We’re asking local businesses to take us on as their charity of the year for 2026. This could include hosting an SLDAS information point in reception or a canteen, team fundraising or volunteering.
Healthcare Organisations: Are you a GP surgery, community outreach worker or NHS worker in training? We can provide you with free domestic abuse training and advice on how to spot the signs and support victims.
Rebecca adds: “You don’t have to commit to a lot to make a difference. Anyone could just promote #mychoicemylife on their own social media to friends and family. The more people we reach, the more we can help.”
To register your interest in taking part in #mychoicemylife please contact us on marketing@sldas.co.uk or call 0151 494 2222.
Below are posters and images you can download and share with your colleagues, customers and service users to help us reach more women and girls in South Liverpool seeking to escape from domestic violence.
