EY Liverpool Choose SLDAS as its charity partner for 27/28!

Delighted to announce that the team at EY Offices Liverpool has chosen us to support for the next two years with a series of fundraising activities and volunteering.

We were nominated by Lydia Rigby from the Audit Team and were successfully chosen as the local office charity to support. Lydia has experience of our charity as she attended a Level 1 Domestic Abuse training course as a volunteer a few years ago. She is fully aware of the work we do on a daily basis to support women and girls in South Liverpool and the vital services we offer.

Some of the fundraising activities that are in the pipeline include a 100 Club, a running club membership donation and a charity awareness day on Thursday 8th October.

Rebecca Radcliffe, CEO at SLDAS commented: “Support from corporate teams like EY can make a huge difference to our small charity. Not only are we looking forward to supporting their fundraising events but also the potential skills based volunteering and training they can offer for our staff and volunteers. A huge thank you to all that voted for us!”

SLDAS supports around 1500 women and girls each year to escape fear, violence and abuse in the home. As well as a helpline we offer survivor workshops and training, counselling and outreach work to reach and support as many women and girls as we can.
